Automatically detects HP Software application problems

The HP Self-Healing Services client monitors the log files of HP Software applications for faults or errors. Upon detecting an error the Automated Diagnostic Support (ADS) client immediately goes to work by checking the configurable action to take for each detected error. Depending on that action it will collect a set of application specific information that can be used in troubleshooting the problem. Because data collection is accomplished immediately the data will accurately reflect the system at the time the error occurred rather than hours or days later when data collection is typically done.
