HP is offering a competitively priced service to customers who want to understand and experience the benefits of the HP Software Business Process Insight technology by monitoring the health of one business process within your organization.
The pilot service includes:
- Planning, preparation and on-site OVBPI pilot implementation service delivery
- Model one (1) 12-step business process
- Provide for up to 3 data sources for extracting business data (Oracle, MS SQL Database or flat files (e.g. log files and data files))
- OVBPI Dashboard display of up to 3 key metrics (graphical sliders or tables, up to 5 titles/labels)
- Pilot demonstration review and implementation engagement sign-off
- 60-day trial of fully functional OVBPI software
- Software is free-of-charge during trial period1
- Software will cease to function after trial period expires
- Contact your HP Sales Representative prior to purchase standard product prior to trial expiration.
An HP expert installs Business Process Insight software (BPI), configures the product to model the key steps of the business process, and then configures an adaptor to extract business data from the underlying IT systems. The HP Expert then customizes the OVBPI dashboard to display some key metric information, and then demonstrates the product's capabilities. The completed installation and integration work will then be left on site for a further 60 days of use. After the HP Service Delivery Expert has completed the pilot they will be available by email to answer any questions that arise.

Finally you have the ability to use the OVBPI software and integration work free of charge for a further 60 days.
