July 2005
HP Software Update Manager (SUM) is an online, interactive tool that provides customers with access to current support contracts. Customers have the tools to manage their profiles, decide when it is best for their business to request the latest product update, or download new product documentation. The new User Guide illustrates how to use SUM, how to update user profiles to take full advantage of all of the SUM tools, how to review one or all of your active support contracts, and how to download product updates or request other delivery.
HP's Software Update Manager (SUM) puts you in control of software updates that are delivered via physical media and/or available for electronic download. SUM provides customized information that reflects each customer's specific contractual product and information needs.
