Select Access
Select Access relies on the operating system and the Java Virtual Management for Daylight Saving Time support. Appropriate updates to the operating system and middleware are sufficient with one exception. Select Access installs a "private" JRE for the administration server, so we plan to issue patches for currently supported versions to update the JRE for DST support. For versions that cannot be patched within the required timeframe, refer to e-Care document OV-EN022873 documenting the manual JRE update process.
Select Identity
Select Identity relies upon the underlying operating system, java virtual machine, and database management system to handle time zone processing. As such, appropriate updates to the OS and middleware are sufficient to ensure proper operation with no need for application updates. Select Federation
Select Federation relies on the Java Virtual Machine included with the servlet engine on which it is installed, with one exception. Select Federation can be installed in a standalone mode; in that case, Select Federation includes a copy of the JRE and a Tomcat servlet engine. Refer to e-Care document OV-EN022878 documenting the manual JRE update process.
Select Audit
Select Audit relies on the Java Virtual Machine included with the J2EE server for Daylight Saving Time support. Refer to e-Care document OV-EN022877 documenting the manual JRE update process.
